Ioana Spătaru is the Chief Financial Officer behind one of Bucharest’s most established hospitality groups, including Control, Shift, Alt Shift, Hare, and P+1. With a background in Journalism and Communication Sciences, she started her career in PR, continued at Orange Romania, and eventually moved into the hospitality industry, where she has been part of the Control ecosystem since its early days.
Over time, her role expanded far beyond finance. Deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the business, she has contributed to building and running a complex organization with over 200 people. Known for her hands-on approach and versatility, Ioana is a key part of how the entire system works, combining structure, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership.
