Mihaela Mitroi is a leader in Romania’s financial field. With a PhD in Economics and over 25 years in top consulting firms, she made history as the first woman in Romania to become a partner at a Big 4 firm, leading PwC and Ernst & Young teams across South-Eastern Europe.
A powerhouse in international taxation, Mihaela has helped multinational corporations and high-profile individuals navigate complex tax laws, EU regulations, and strategic investments. She’s also shaping the next generation of financial leaders as an associate professor at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and the Faculty of Law. Beyond tax, Mihaela is a force in business leadership—an independent member of Raiffeisen Bank’s Supervisory Board, a Global Board member of the Professional Women Network, and President of CONAF Bucharest.
